Greetings!
As of Fall 2019, I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. Previously, I spent 2016-2019 as an Assistant Professor at Gonzaga University, prior to which I held postdoctoral positions at Wesleyan University, Bowdoin College, and the Air Force Institute of Technology, along with a research assistantship at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. I completed my PhD in Mathematics at Colorado State University in December 2012. My research area is matrix manifolds, geometric data analysis, frame theory, and hyperspectral imagery. Instructing mathematics fortunately feels less like work and more like a hobby!
I enjoy staying active, and commonly jog, bike, hike, and swing dance. I'm overjoyed to have returned to my sunny home state of California! I love to travel in order to explore new places, sample local foods, and experience other cultures. Singing, piano, photography and cooking are artistic outlets for me.
